Sentia is the first Consulting Partner of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Benelux that has achieved the status of Managed Service Program (MSP) Partner. With this achievement Sentia is now part of a select group of companies in Europe and strengthens their competence in the Benelux.
Sentia has been working with the AWS Cloud offering for quite some time. After serious technical and organisational preparation Sentia passed the independent external audit which is a pre-requisite to be recognised as a MSP Partner by AWS.
Compliance with Technical Audit
AWS has strong criteria for the MSP Audit. Only AWS Partner Network (APN) partners that are able to prove their MSP competence are granted the MSP Status in the APN program. In Europe there is currently a growing number active MSP Partners. The MSP audit focuses on the technical capabilities of the organisation but also verifies the processes and tooling in place to comply with the stringent requirements that are set by AWS.
Hans Reinhart, Managing Director Managed Public Cloud Services at Sentia said: “The audit was very thorough. During the process we were challenged by the auditor on our architecture skills, the security best practices, the way we migrate and monitor and respond to incidents, the contract- and SLA structures Sentia has in place and even the exit strategies for our customers were reviewed in detail.”
Niko Mykkanen, Partner lead AWS EMEA said of the achievement, “It is great to see our Benelux APNpartners achieving the high quality bar set as a condition for entrance to the AWS Managed Service Program. This is evidence of the high professional level of Benelux APN partners, the great innovation they are driving within their businesses as well as the widespread adoption of the AWS cloud in Europe.”
On the right track
Sentia has shown strong growth with AWS in the Benelux for some time, based on their Advanced Consulting Partner status and certified AWS engineers. “It is good to see that AWS has recognised our competence, and I am proud of this achievement. However achieving a certain partner status or technical certification as such is not a goal on its own. It is all about delivering the best in class continuity to our customers,” concludes Reinhart.
